LTE: Jim Dillon’s experience is needed on the School Committee

To the editor:

Lynnfield has always been proud of our school district. There is no better evidence of this than the number of young families that move to our town in recognition of our schools’ long-standing reputation, and our involved parent community that demands high standards for its children’s education.

Now, more than ever, we need someone on the School Committee with Jim’s extensive background as a school principal, teacher and School Committee member. He knows the work that needs to be done and will promote a culture of excellence at the Lynnfield Public Schools by focusing on teaching, learning, and school climate.

Please join me in voting for Jim Dillon for a three-year seat on the School Committee on Tuesday, April 9.
