Join the Lynnfield Library this April for a four-part lecture series, Bill Sano presents The Men of Song!
Renowned local music educator Bill Sano will be at the Lynnfield Meeting House on April 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 10 a.m. – noon, discussing eight African American male artists who sang their way into our hearts in the last half of the twentieth century; Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Harry Belafonte, Louis Armstrong, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Johnny Mathis, and Stevie Wonder.
Covering two musicians each week, Sano will be regaling us with the highs and lows of the careers and lives of these great performers, and playing some of their greatest tunes. Refreshments will be served at 11. All are encouraged to bring treats to share.
