Thursday, Feb. 15

Arrests

Clailson Dos Santos Silva, 23, of Tracey Street, was arrested on a department warrant at 1:17 a.m. at the Police Department, 6 Allens Lane. 

Alberico Andrade Lemos, 58, of Keys Drive, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a marked lanes violation, and failure to signal at 6:16 p.m. at Lowell Street and Larrabee Terrace. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 7:37 a.m. at 85 Lowell St.; at 9:23 a.m. at 71 County St.; at 5:25 p.m. at Peabody District Court, 1 Lowell St.; at 5:54 p.m. at 68 Forest St.; at 9:57 p.m. at Main and Central streets.

Disturbances

A caller wanted to make an anonymous tip that the Copa Cabana Steakhouse is hosting a party without an entertainment license at 9:27 p.m. at 150 Main St. An officer reported no issue. 

A loud party complaint at 11:04 p.m. at 135 Washington St. An officer spoke with the resident and he agreed to keep it down. 

Hazard

A report of a large amount of needles at 12:45 p.m. at Farm Avenue and Dearborn Road.

Suspicious

An officer reported checking on a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:45 a.m. at Lynnfield and Maple streets. 

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with a sole male occupant sitting near her house who has been there for five hours at 12:13 p.m. at 261 Newbury St. 

An officer reported checking on a suspicious motor vehicle at 1:19 p.m. at Railroad Avenue. The officer was unable to locate the driver of the vehicle. 

A caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle near the tennis courts at Hollow Tree Court at 7:26 p.m. An officer checked the area and could not find the vehicle. 

A caller reported a loud bang at 11:35 p.m. at Sunoco Station, Lynn and Lynnfield streets, the caller said the believed they saw people running away down Lynnfield Street. An officer reported there is a snow plow operating in the parking lot. After checking the area, the officer said there were no visible footprints in the fresh snow. 

Theft

A party walked in to the police station to report an attempt to open a bank account at 11:29 a.m. at 10 Sachem Road. 

Tuesday, Feb. 13

Summons

Guadalupe Chavez Lopez, 23, of Boston Street, Lynn, will be summonsed to court for attaching plates. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 8:51 a.m. Tuesday at Franklin and School streets; at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday at Lupo Auto Body, 9 Caller St.; at 6 p.m. Tuesday on Route 128 North between the Exit 40 ramp. 

Dispute

A property owner reported a male tenant assaulted him and left the scene heading toward Peabody Square at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday at 59 Walnut St. Officers determined the male closed the car door on the caller’s leg and the argument was verbal in nature. 

Gunshots

A caller reported hearing approximately four gunshots then seeing two young adults run past her window, one holding a gun at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday at 47 Shore Drive. Officers spoke with parties in the area who confirmed hearing multiple gunshots. A caller at McDonald’s reported two men ran up on her vehicle while in front of 33 Shore Drive and shot out her windows. 

Suspicious

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 3:52 a.m. Tuesday at Farnham Park, Endicott Street. The parties were sent on their way. 

A caller reported a gold Honda Civic four-door drove onto her property, rang the bell, then left at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday at 10 Wright Road, the second time in a month the car had done so. An officer reported it appeared to be juveniles playing “ding dong ditch,” as before. 

A third party reported a man in the front entrance stairwell on the 2nd-floor loitering, smoking, and drinking at 9:07 p.m. Tuesday at Ezio Place, 2 Hotel Road. Residents reported to the property owner the male has been there since 2 a.m. No cameras were available and no description of the party was provided. An officer reported the man left in the direction of Wendy’s. Officers checked the area but the man was gone on arrival. 

Theft

A walk-in report of fraud at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday.
