Go on an insider’s tour of the Lynnfield Public Library

Lynnfield Public Library Director Abby Porter invites any and all to attend one of three building tours of the library to see the issues facing the current space and hear about the opportunities a new building would provide the Lynnfield community. Lynnfield has been offered a unique opportunity to
accept a $9 million grant from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) to build a new library at Reedy Meadow, as the current building, while beautiful, is no longer able to serve the Lynnfield community. This is a very big decision, and one that no voter should make lightly. We realize that not all voters in town regularly use the library, and we want all Lynnfield residents to have an opportunity to fully understand what they are voting on at March 18th’s Special Town Meeting.

Library building tours will be: Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at the Lynnfield Public Library at 18 Summer St. Call 781-334-5411 or email aporter@noblenet.org with any questions.
