The Recreation Department is hosting its 5th Annual Light Up Lynnfield! House decorating contest this year.
Rec is encouraging residents to consider holiday movie themes, such as Elf, The Polar Express and The Grinch and other holiday favorites. Be sure to include a sign indicating the name of the movie.
To participate and have your home included on the official map, you must register on or before Nov. 29. People can vote online on the Rec website (a link will soon be available). All voting closes on Sunday, Dec. 4.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 5.
To participate, you must be a resident of Lynnfield. All lights and decorations must be visible from the street. Lynnfield Recreation board members are only eligible for the People’s Choice Award.
