North Shore Chamber to hold annual dinner Nov. 16

DANVERS — The North Shore Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Dinner, Meeting, and Distinguished Leader Awards on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Danversport, 161 Elliott St.

The program will feature the installation of The Chamber’s Board of Directors and officers for 2023-2024, highlight The Chamber’s achievements over the past year, and set an overview of its advocacy work and priorities for the year ahead.

The evening will also celebrate the contributions of three Distinguished Leaders for their professional excellence and service to the community. This year’s Distinguished Leaders are:

Bernadette Butterfield of Marblehead, Senior Vice President of Business Strategy & Development at Groom Construction, and a member of The Chamber Board of Directors, Managing Board and Thrive Steering Committee.

David Eidle, of Middleton, Senior Vice President-Regional Manager/Massachusetts Business Banking at M&T Bank, and a member of The Chamber’s Board of Directors. Eidle was instrumental in forming The Chamber’s Emerging Leaders program, which helps young professionals through mentoring, networking, and training opportunities.

David Morales of Lynnfield, General Manager of UniCare, and a member of The Chamber’s Board of Directors. A dedicated advocate for the veterans community, Morales partners with The Chamber on the annual Salute to Veterans program and Minuteman Service Awards.

The keynote speaker for this year’s Annual Dinner will be Josh Kraft, President of the New England Patriots Foundation. The Kraft family’s many philanthropic initiatives include the Patriots Foundation, Revolution Charitable Foundation, Kraft Center for Community Health, and participation in the REFORM Alliance. Additionally, Josh Kraft has spent 30 years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, including 12 as the Nicholas President and CEO. During his time with the organization, Kraft nearly doubled their budget and led a five-year $125 million campaign that successfully broadened the reach and deepened the impact of the non-profit.

The evening will open with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 for Chamber members and $200 for nonmembers. Registration is required and can be completed on The Chamber’s website.
