A two-win week for boys soccer team

Behind a hat trick from Dillon Reilly, the Pioneers took care of business on the road against Georgetown, 2-0. Rocco Schena also scored a goal on Thursday.

Earlier in the week in a 4-1 win against Essex Tech, Brendan Sokop scored eight minutes into the game and, from there, the Pioneers never looked back. Dillon Reilly and Matt Reinhold (2) added goals for Lynnfield, which led 3-0 at halftime.

“We’re a pretty good team. We created a good amount of chances and put some of them in,” coach Brent Munroe said. “We maintained our lead for most of the game. I wish we had gotten the shutout, but all in all, it was good.”
