Members of the Lynnfield Fire Department were given the opportunity to host a training on bus emergencies in conjunction with the MBTA last week.
During the training, topics included cribbing (stabilizing the vehicle) and lifting buses when a victim is trapped underneath, different methods of both making entry and evacuating passengers in emergencies, as well as reviewing the lithium-ion battery system.
Also in attendance were members of Professional Fire Fighters of Peabody Ma Local 925 and Middleton Firefighters Local 3097.
