COVID, flu clinics set for Dec. 7

The Lynnfield Health Department will be offering age/series appropriate Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines with the bivalent boosters at a Dec. 7 clinic from 3-6 p.m. at the Joe Maney Room at Town Hall, 55 Summer St.

Pfizer vaccines will be available for ages three and up. Moderna vaccines will be available for ages 18 and up.

The following will be available based on the most recent FDA/CDC emergency use authorizations:

  • Primary vaccine series for anyone ages three and up, first boosters for ages five and up for those at least five months after finishing primary vaccine series. 
  • Booster of Pfizer Bivalent COVID vaccine for anyone ages five and up who has completed a primary vaccine series of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine at least two months after last dose or last booster dose.
  • Booster of Moderna Bivalent COVID vaccine for anyone 18 and up who has completed a primary series of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine at least two months after the last dose or last booster dose.

Flu shots will be available for ages three and up.  Insurance is required for flu vaccines. Please bring your insurance cards (medical and prescription) and COVID-19 vaccination cards to the clinic.  For those covered by Medicare please bring your red, white, and blue Medicare card in addition to any other insurance cards.

COVID vaccines are free for all regardless of insurance coverage.

Remember to select a vaccine of your choice (Pfizer, Moderna or flu) so the appropriate primary or booster dose will be given.
