Art is Blooming at the library

The Lynnfield Public Library, Lynnfield Art Guild, and Lynnfield High School art students successfully kicked off their spring 2023 Art in Bloom event Monday night at the library.

“I am happy to report we had a wonderful turnout at the Art In Bloom opening night,” said Tricia Torosian. “It was a wonderful success!”

With over 50 community members in attendance, attendees enjoyed refreshments that were generously and beautifully presented by the club’s hostess committee. The evening included a narrated presentation of each display by the artist as well as garden club members’ interpretations of the art done as a floral arrangement.

A new twist this year was the addition of a book to accompany each art display.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the library for their support and help with this wonderful community event,” Torosian said. “A special thank you to library staff, Abigail Porter and Marita Klements, and our gratitude to Georgann Lieb for coordinating the books and being the lead hostess for this event.”
