Town Election is Tuesday

There will be only one contested race in the Annual Town Election on Tuesday, April 11.

Select Board Chair Phil Crawford will face off against challenger Bob Gillon. This is the second straight year that Gillon has sought a seat on the board. Last year, he challenged then-Chair Richard Dalton. Dalton was reelected to another three-year term after defeating Gillon by a 967-386 margin. 

Town Clerk Linda Emerson said that all incumbents have returned their papers and all nomination papers are certified.

Other incumbents seeking reelection are Jamie Hayman (School Committee), James Wilkie (Housing Authority), Joe Markey (Town Moderator), Bonnie Celi (Board of Assessors), Katherine Flaws (Planning Board), and Robert Calamari (Library Trustees).

All voting will take place at Lynnfield High School. The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

“Your vote is your voice. Come to the polls on Tuesday, April 11and support Lynnfield,” said Emerson.
