Ask the Nurse: On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin, from the Lynnfield Health Department, will visit our center from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. She will offer free blood-pressure screenings and will be available to offer assistance with prescriptions and other health-related
questions. Also, on the third Wednesday of May she will be offering free blood sugar screenings. Drop In.

Low Vision Support: We will hold our monthly low vision support group on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. All seniors are welcomed.

Movement as Medicine: Join Dr. Katie Wadland, PT, DPT, board-certified geriatric clinical specialist, to learn how to use Movement as Medicine to improve your health, wellness and stay independent as you age. Wednesday, April 24 at 12 p.m. Sign up with Lisa.

Beginner Portuguese: Interested in learning a new language? Join our beginner Portuguese class on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. This class is free and open to all seniors.

Downsizing: The Marjorie Youngren team will be hosting a downsizing/rightsizing seminar where you can “learn from the experts” the steps you should take to prepare your home for sale. Speakers include a realtor, home organizer, stager, lieutenant on fire prevention, mover, lender, and real estate attorney. Tuesday, April 30 at 12 p.m. Call the center to sign up!

Genealogy: Have you ever wondered what your family roots hold? Join Jane on Thursday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. Jane can help you explore your family heritage and help find some surprising facts you never knew about your family! Please bring a tablet or laptop. This class is free to all seniors.
