Lynnfield Library Friends host spring book sale

Join the Friends of the Lynnfield Library (FOLL) for the spring book sale on May 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Lynnfield Common. Only books in excellent condition are sold with thousands to pick from – this is a great opportunity to add to your home library or book collection at prices you can’t get off Amazon!  Books are just $1-$3. Cash, Venmo, checks and Paypal are accepted.

The Friends book sale is their biggest fundraiser providing significant support for our library and our community. Have you ever used a library museum pass? These discounted passes are thanks to the Friends of the Lynnfield Library. Two-thirds of all library programming is funded by the Friends of the Lynnfield Library – this includes the wildly popular weekly virtual yoga class, Bill Sano lectures, adult workshops, kid and teen activities, as well as the summer reading program, its kickoff, and end of challenge prizes.

“The FOLL book sale will have a large selection of books for both adult and children,” Jeana Tecci, the new President of the Friends of the Library said. “The adult books range from fiction, gardening, cooking, history, sports and so much more. For children’s books we have all ages of books from board books, picture books, and chapter books. With the variety of books our community generously donated there’s a book in the collection for everyone.”

The Friends will be joined by many community groups, including the Historical Society providing free refreshments and a bake sale, MarketStreet, Lynnfield Mom’s Group, and so much more!
