Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School District secures $850,000 in federal funding

DANVERS — Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District (ENSATS) proudly announces securing $850,000 in federal funding to expand workforce development and veterans-focused programs through infrastructure projects on campus. This funding is part of a multimillion-dollar community investment package secured by Congressman Seth Moulton for community projects in the 6th District.
With this funding, ENSATS will invest in expanding existing infrastructure and facilities at its Danvers campus. A particular focus will be upgrading the Gallant Hall HVAC-R systems, windows, doors, and alumni gymnasium bathroom. It will also provide space for Company2Heroes, a nonprofit service dog training organization specializing in dogs working with combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD, TBI, or MST. This expansion will enable ENSATS to further its commitment to supporting veterans and their families while providing invaluable hands-on training opportunities for its students.
Essex North Shore Superintendent Dr. Heidi Riccio expressed her appreciation for Moulton’s efforts, stating, “We are immensely grateful for Congressman Moulton’s dedication to supporting our greater school community. We are proud of our work to provide workforce development opportunities to our day and evening students, including those with barriers to employment.
