Ask the Nurse: On the first and third Wednesday of each month, Nurse Karen Cronin, from the Lynnfield Health Dept., will visit our center from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.  She will offer free blood pressure screenings, and will be available to offer assistance with prescriptions and other health-related questions.  Also on the third Wednesday will be free blood sugar screenings. Drop In.

Coffee and Doughnuts with Town Administrator: Rob Dolan, town administrator, will be here at the center to enjoy a cup of coffee with you! Great way to get acquainted with our town leaders and discuss town matters. Bring your questions and concerns and have a cup of coffee and a doughnut. Thursday April 4, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. 

Meet and Greet: Come meet Joe Connell and Alexis Leahy. They are candidates for the Lynnfield Select Board. This is a great opportunity to ask your questions.  

Special Parkinson’s Support Group: An occupational therapist will be here on Wednesday, April 10 at 12:30 p.m. He will discuss issues related to activities of daily living and how to address them. Call the center and sign up with Debby.

Tai Chi for Balance:  Come learn how to improve your balance and learn a new exercise. Tai Chi for balance is held on Tuesday’s at 9:30. New class sign up is Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Cost is $5 per class.

Monday Yoga: Learn how to relax your mind and your body with a yoga class.  New class starting Monday April 1, at 8:30 a.m. Cost $5 per class

Strengthen Your Balance: Strengthen your balance is a low impact exercise class that works on strengthen your core muscle while enjoying fun exercise.  New class sign up Thursday, April 4, at 11:15 a.m. Cost $5 per class
