LTE: Connell’s passion for Lynnfield is unparalleled

To the editor:

I am writing to encourage the people of Lynnfield to vote for my husband, Joe Connell, for Select Board. As his wife, I can tell you that he has put in countless hours to ensure that what needs to be accomplished in our great town is done and done successfully. His passion for seeing that Lynnfield
remains a top place to live and raise a family is unparalleled.

We are instilling this in our children as well. We have maintained the Welcome to Lynnfield sign for many years, and have our children assist us in planting and watering the flowers and shrubs there. We want them to take pride in their town, just as we do.

Joe, Natalie, Jake, and I have also, for numerous years, spent countless hours restringing the 14 lacrosse nets prior to the start of the season, for both the high school and youth lacrosse program. We feel this makes a good impression on other towns coming to our fields to play, that we care about our school, our fields, and our equipment. Both our children, Natalie and Jake, have 300-plus volunteer hours within the Lynnfield community as students. We have instilled in our children the need for volunteerism in small towns such as Lynnfield.

As you know, Joe has a love affair with this town and supporting all its citizens and that it has given us the greatest school system, sports teams, activities, and natural resources. He needs to continue with the plan he put together in 2020 that the town voted yes on: added classrooms to our two elementary
schools, a new public-safety building, Lynnfield Rail Trail, Richardson/Green Conservation land, and a new public library. The current Select Board has kept Lynnfield at an AA+ financial rating. Please support me in getting my husband reelected to the Select Board.
