Sunday, Jan. 21

Arrest

Rachel G. Sorensen, 53, of Elginwood Road, was arrested and charged with assault and battery at 8:16 p.m.

Summons

Lincon Cardoso Amorim, 23, of Keyes Drive, will be summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after police responded to a motor vehicle collision at 3:49 p.m. 

Jason Jared Moreta, 27, of Crowninshield Street, will be summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a motor vehicle stop at 6:46 p.m. at Washington and Hourihan streets. 

Accidents

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision at 5:32 p.m. at Five Guys, 227 Andover St. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 12:55 p.m. at 46 Glendale Ave.; at 3:24 p.m. at Petes’ A Place, 19A Central St.  

Complaint

A resident reported the line for Prestige Car Wash was blocking Hardy Street and cars were going the wrong way on Munroe Street at 1:46 p.m. at 27 Central St. An officer spoke with the manager and he will be sending an attendant to assist with the traffic. The manager was told if police returned they would take further action. 

Disturbances

A report of loud music at 12:31 a.m. at 17 Keys Drive. The music was turned down for the night. 

A report of a party going on all night at 6:56 a.m. at 63 Aborn St. The reporting party told police they would open the door. When officers arrived, the door was closed and there was no noise. 

A report of a noise complaint at 9:50 a.m. at 16 Foster St. The caller reported the apartment above them was making loud noises, but officers determined the residents were just walking around and the noise was not unreasonable for the time of day. 

Suspicious

A report of a suspicious small baggie in an ATM at 9:02 a.m. at North Shore Bank, 32 Main St. An officer took possession of the baggie and will turn it in at the station. 

A caller reported observing a male operator in a white van trying to approach a female party at 9:17 p.m. at Tremont Market, 70 Tremont St. An officer spoke to the party, everything checked out. 

Saturday, Jan. 20

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 12:01 p.m. at 240 Andover St.; at 7:13 p.m. at the intersection of 0 Route 128 North and 0 Centennial Drive. 

Restraining Order

A report of an attempt to serve a restraining order at 9:21 a.m. at 4 Goldthwaite Place.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 1:28 p.m.. The caller reported past damage to a motor vehicle with ¼ of the rear panel damaged and right rear tire slashed.

A report of vandalism at 1:44 p.m. at 6 Allens Lane. The reporting party said his car was vandalized by eggs on his way to work. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 12:29 a.m. at 1 Wagner St.

Tuesday, Jan. 16

Summons

A 17-year-old juvenile will be summonsed to court for failing to stop for a school bus, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle at 6:46 a.m. at Peabody District Court, 1 Lowell St. 

Chelsey Rose Jones, 30, of Main Street in Everett, will be summonsed to court on three counts of malicious destruction of property, and one count of misdemeanor breaking and entering at 11 a.m. at 137 Summit St. 

Brendan Patrick Fallon, 39, of Palmer Street in Watertown, will be summonsed to court for possession of a Class B drug, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle at 9:27 p.m. at Peabody Shell, 85 Lynnfield St. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 6:57 a.m. at 467 Lowell St.; at 9:01 a.m. at Centennial Express, 4 Centennial Drive at 1 First Ave.; at 9:47 a.m. at Walnut and Howley Streets; at 10:33 a.m. at 50 Bartholomew St.; at 11:49 a.m. at 604 Lowell St. 

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 9:51 p.m. on Newbury Street. 

Suspicious

A caller reported a white car with its lights flashing at 12:37 a.m. at Tannery Two, 12 Crowninshield St. 

A caller reported believing her apartment had been broken into while she was sleeping at 2:31 a.m. at 88 Aborn St. The caller said her phones were taken and hidden in her cotton ball container. Dispatched officers reported there were no signs of breaking and entering and the reporting party declined medical attention. 

Monday, Jan. 15

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 7:21 a.m. at Mini of Peabody, 209 Andover St.; at 9:11 a.m. at Dunkin’, 256 Andover St.; at 2:43 p.m. at Ellsworth Road and Kosciusko Street.

Theft

A caller reported witnessing a robbery at 7:17 p.m. outside the Big Y, 637 Lowell St. The caller told police a male party approached another young male, described as Caucasian, skinny build, approximately 5′ 11″ wearing a blue jacket and jeans, grabbed that party’s belongings and fled in a dark charcoal Mitsubishi. An officer reported the parties met up for a Marketplace purchase when the suspect gave the victim fake money, grabbed the items and took off. 

Vandalism

A caller reported 2 juvenile boys throwing objects at this house in the past half hour at 9:45 p.m. at 22 Coolidge Ave. An officer spoke to the reporting party and was unable to locate the juveniles.
