Tourism Summit coming after the New Year

The Marriott on Centennial Drive will be the site of the 16th annual North of Boston Tourism Summit on Friday, Jan. 26.

The nearly eight-hour event will kick off at 7:30 a.m., and will welcome a variety of industry professionals representing different fields of the region’s tourism-oriented businesses. Industry segments represented will include lodging, dining, attractions, chambers, and destination-marketing organizations.

Amy Pocsik is slated to be the summit’s keynote speaker. Pocsik is the founder of the professional training and coaching business Bold Moves, as well as the co-founder and CEO of the Women’s Business League. The North Shore native has no shortage of accolades in her young business career, with Fast Company magazine calling her a “national leader in helping others find purpose and success.”

Attendance prices range from $80 all the way to $1,250, with multiple sponsorship opportunities.
