The Rink at MarketStreet, presented by SBLI Life Insurance, skates into its 10th season with an Opening Party on Saturday, Nov. 11 (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.). The North Shore’s premier neighborhood destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and ice skating continues its 10th anniversary bash this season with an Opening Skating Party perfect for the entire family. Attendees will be treated to a live DJ, festive snacks, a hot cocoa bar, and wintry games, including outdoor curling lanes and ice cornhole. All guests will receive a wristband, which will give them exclusive discounts at select retailers around the property. Tickets are $20 per person.
As MarketStreet ushers in its tenth season of The Rink, ice skaters and shoppers alike will once again be treated to a spectacle of twinkling lights as they illuminate the ice while a playlist of musical hits and seasonal favorites keep skaters and shoppers moving to the beat. Cast-iron chimenea fire pits and benches surround the ice giving guests a great place to relax, cozy up, and enjoy time together outside in the crisp open air. The Rink’s Warming Tent, also located just steps from the ice, houses skate rentals and keeps both spectators and skaters toasty even on the chilliest of days. Open from Nov. 11 through Feb. 25, The Rink is conveniently located on The Green near lululemon, J.Crew, and J.P. Licks in the heart of MarketStreet.
This exciting annual winter experience joins MarketStreet’s lineup of more than 80 shops and restaurants alongside the property’s year-round calendar of community driven programming including popular seasonal events such as the property’s annual Holiday Stroll (Nov. 19), interactive activations, and area fundraisers.
