Run for the Roses with the Peabody Education Foundation

The Peabody Education Foundation will hold the “Run For The RosesBig Hats & Fast Horses” on Saturday, May 13 from 7-11 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre, 22 Foster Street in downtown Peabody. Come and join us as we celebrate the arrival of spring and the most exciting two minutes in sports — the Kentucky Derby, the longest running sporting event in the United States

Peabody’s Kentucky Derby” will be an unforgettable experience. You will enter a world of southern charm and horse racing excitement the minute you arrive at the Black Box Theatre. Fashion, music, horse racing, games and prizes will be featured throughout the evening. We encourage you to put on your best hat and show off your fashion sense while enjoying the thrill of the races. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the excitement and witness the thrill of Peabody’s “Run For The Roses” while supporting Peabody public school students.

Tickets are $50 per person. There will be food stations with a cash bar. Multiple races will be held so there will be more chances to win. Raffles, bourbon tastings, and a fascinator and fancy hat contest are on the race ticket.

Several sponsorship opportunities are still available. The Triple Crown for $1,000 includes 10 tickets, blue ribbon VIP name tags, a full page ad and company logo in the program, a logo with a URL link on the event page, a social media shoutout, and verbal recognition at the event.

The Winners Circle cost $750 and includes 10 tickets, blue ribbon VIP name tags, a half-page ad and company logo in the program, a social media shoutout, and verbal recognition at the event.

For $500, you can sponsor the fascinator hat contest. Five tickets, a quarter-page ad in the program, company logo on voting paddles, logo with URL link on the event page, verbal recognition at the event are included and you can present the winning prize to the winner.

The Table Racing level is $350 and includes two tickets, company logo on the program, verbal recognition at the event, signage on the table top racing game and announcement of winners and presentation of award prize money.

The Mint Julep sponsorship is also $350. It includes two tickets, company logo on the program, verbal recognition at the event, a signature cocktail named after you, and signage at the bar.

Finally, the Horse Owner sponsorship is $100. It includes one ticket, listing in the program and naming rights for a horse in one race.

The Peabody Education Foundation provides unique programs and advanced technology to thousands of students who might otherwise not enjoy such experiences due to budget constraints. Our programs are intended to benefit and guide children as they develop into successful citizens and leaders.
