Accident

A report of a hit-and-run accident at Shaw’s Supermarket, 210 S Andover St. The driver fled toward Prospect Street.

Animal Control

A report at 11:28 a.m. from a resident at 100 Brooksby Village Drive Apt. #303 who said an unknown cat came into her apartment. The officer said the cat returned home to #304.

Burglary Attempt

A report at 4:12 p.m. of an attempted burglary to an apartment at 36 Essex Lane. The damaged deadbolt will be replaced by maintenance.

Disturbance

A report at 12:24 p.m. of loud music at Preserve North Apartments, 16 Crowninshield St. Apt. #415.

Motor Vehicle Stop

A report at 1:49 a.m. of an erratic driver in a black Jeep who swerved and hit the curb at 3 Central St at 2 Walnut St. The operator checked out.

Summons

Carlos Montero, 27, 76 Light St. Apt. #1, Lynn was summonsed on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. 

Friday, April 21

Summons

Jahleel Trevon Sanders-Williams, 26, 5234 Crane Brook Way, Peabody was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

Thursday, April 20

Arrest

Cameron James Palermo Harriss, 23, 37 Bayberry Road Danvers, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Complaints

A report at 6:21 p.m. of a party riding a dirt bike at Symphony Park.

A report at 7:53 p.m. from Gentle Dental Care of Peabody, 1 Main St. that the business was trying to close and there was a party passed out in a hallway.

Fire

A report at 2:49 p.m. of a brush fire at 197 Bartholomew St.

Suspicious Activity

A report at 10:19 p.m. from a caller who said she viewed Snapchat photos showing about 20 underage youths drinking at 50 Pulaski St.

Wednesday, April 19

Animal Control

A request at 11:30 a.m. for a well-being check with the MSPCA of two dogs, Yorkie and Chloe, at 47 Pierpont At. Apt. #FL2. Police determined the allegations appear to be unfounded. The caller and owner of one of the dogs are currently in a dispute over money. There is concern for a Cheeweenie, known as Louie who belongs to a roommate.

Complaint

A report at 4:19 p.m. from a caller who said there was a group of ATVs operating in the woods behind the Higgins Middle School, 85 Perkins St. 

Disturbances

A report at 12:48 p.m. from a resident at 21 Parsons St. Apt. #2 who said he is being harassed by his landlord.

A report at 12:51 p.m. from a caller at 139 Lynnfield St. at 9 Corwin St who said three kids had broken the fence and thrown parts of it into the water. The officer stated the fence was already broken. 

Larceny

A report at 10:56 a.m. from a caller who said a friend had his cell phone taken from the A One Market, 50 Central St. the night before. Dustin James Grammer, 20 Andover St. Apt. #D, Peabody, 38, was summonsed on charges of larceny under $1,200.

A report at 11:39 a.m. from a woman at Salon CC, 58 Pulaski St. Apt. #4-C who said items were taken out of her delivery package.

Road Rage

A report of a past road incident at iStorage, 137 Summit St. at 1:23 p.m. from a caller who said the driver of a white pickup truck with black lettering had brandished a handgun.

Suspicious Activity

A report at 11:08 a.m. from a female caller at 6 Maple St. who said someone had come to her house and stated she was from City Hall. Police determined the person was a solicitor who will be back to speak to the mother.

A report at 2:55 p.m. of several juveniles at 332 Lowell St. who were destroying property and acting on on the bike path.

Tuesday, April 18

Arrest

Derek W. Medina, 25, 7 Scenic Road, Peabody was arrested after driving a vehicle into a house at 2 Nathan’s Way. He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and operating under the influence of drugs.

Monday, April 17

Disturbance

A report at 10:31 a.m. from a man who said he was assaulted by another man at 57R Walnut St.

Larceny

A report at 8:03 a.m. of a stolen catalytic converter from Wayside Rentals and Leasing, 58R Pulaski St.
