The annual Health & Wellness Expo returns to the Northshore Mall April 8. This is the perfect time to put the winter in the rear view mirror, and learn and experience the latest in health and wellness trends. The expo will take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Several local businesses and organizations will be on hand to help attendees with everything from healthy eating and exercise options to physical therapy and financial well-being, as well as services for people of all ages. Admission is free.
Information booths will be set up throughout the main corridor of the mall from the food court to JCPenney offering information, raffles, free screenings, and more.
The event is sponsored in partnership with Beth Israel Lahey Medical Center Peabody, a full-service, community-based hospital and medical center. Lahey offers a 10-bed inpatient unit for overnight hospitalizations, a full range of diagnostic imaging services, a lab for bloodwork, an on-site pharmacy, eye care including eyeglasses and contact lenses, a hearing aid center, primary care providers, cancer treatment, a continence center, orthopedic care, and much more. The Gold Sponsor for this event is Recovery Journey Services LLC, a strength-based support group for people who are in recovery or dealing with addiction.
