Career Day: helping students choose job paths

Peabody High will host its annual Career Day on Thursday, April 13 from 9-11 a.m.

The event features an informal, non-threatening environment that provides students an opportunity to learn about local businesses and ask questions about possible future vocations.

The event, which is sponsored by The Peabody Education Foundation, is held every spring. More than 50 local businesses set up exhibit booths, allowing students a chance to explore various trades and career paths and interact with representatives of those occupations throughout the day while picking up information material.

Set-up time runs from 8-9 a.m.  For registered businesses, please check in at the registration desk for your booth assignment. All participants are requested to be at their assigned table by 8:45 a.m. A table and chair will be provided.

Parking will be available in the upper and lower parking lots.

Coffee and pastries will be provided for exhibitors, compliments of the PVMHS Culinary Arts program.
