ARTrelief program begins April 8 at the library

The library’s art therapy program with ARTrelief will be held on April 8, April 29, and May 13.

The program is open to children ages 8-12. Registration is required and space is limited.

The April 8 workshop is It Takes a Village! Participants can make their own cardboard houses. The focus is on neighbors and neighborhoods.

The April 29 workshop is Abstract Watercolor Art. Participants will focus on using watercolor paints for spontaneity, free association, letting go, and developing a taste for color composition.

The May 13 workshop is My Family, My Tribe, My Vibe Bead Art. It will focus on families and making bead and pipe cleaner friends.

Participants can take their artwork home or have it displayed in the children’s room.

This program is supported by a grant from the Peabody Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the state agency Mass Cultural Council. For more information on ARTrelief go to https://www.artrelief.info/.
